Project Summary:
This project presented a challenging environment with operations being carried out through wet lands and hence requiring a sensitive approach to the construction activities.
Close liaison was required with SEPA and SNH in order to ensure the impact of works on wildlife and the environment was minimised during the construction phase.
HFBC works:
Site clearance of undergrowth was required to establish fence lines before constructing:
- Temporary wayleave fencing 55,000m
- Deer fence 650m
- Chainlink fence 250m
- Tree protection 450m
- Post and rail fence with metal gates 500m
