Project Summary:
Stirling Council was the primary contractor on this project and HFBC was awarded works in 4 site areas.
This is one of many projects completed with Stirling Council, and we continue to work closely with Councils throughout Scotland.
Start of project: 28th August 2023
End of project: 22nd September 2023
HFBC works:
Works were planned in 4 different site areas. This included:
- Carrying out traffic management, including a full road closure with Alba Traffic Management.
- To take down and remove existing barrier.
- To install new barrier N2/W1 with 4 number P4’s all concreted in strip footing.
- Dig back the existing small verge on one half of the barrier line, fill in the subbase in layers of 100mm and roll.
- To install new barrier N2/W1 with 2 number P4’s all concreted in, 180m of straight.
- To take down damaged posts and barrier and remove offsite.
- To install 3 no. posts concrete in and 7 no. 4m beams.
