Project: A96 Forres

Project Summary:
This project required work carried out on a live carriageway including a bridge over a busy railway line. In addition this project was carried out under a lane rental basis and hence speed of completion was essential (more information here).
HFBC works:
- Road restraint system to road and bridge (N2 W1, N2 W3, G72 concrete to barrier transition)
- Pedestrian guardrail to carriageway and pedestrian parapet
- High security mesh fence to prevent access to the railway line.
- Chainlink fence
- Post and wire fence
Due to the proximity of the works to a live railway line all operatives required to by PTS trained. The project was completed ahead of the planned completion date with no defects.
