Project Summary:
This project presented a number of challenges including night time working on rail track possessions in remote locations.
The remote location of the rail line required a dedicated train to deliver materials to the working area with these being offloaded by our operatives in a safe and efficient manner. Working trackside obviously required all operatives to be fully PTS trained.
HFBC works:
The construction consisted of:
- Railway specification stock fencing 12,000m
- 1.8m high weld mesh fencing 1,000m
- 1.8m high StrongGuard fencing 160m. This is a high specification fence designed to restrain errant vehicles and prevent access to rail property.
