Senior pupils from Culloden Academy who are studying Uniformed and Emergency Services, took part in a driver awareness experience. This event was delivered in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce Inverness & Central Highland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland Highlands and Islands. The purpose was to highlight the importance of road safety, particularly across the Scottish Highlands.
The day began with a road safety session in the theatre, followed by a live RTC demonstration, including casualty extrication. To bring the scenario to life, pupils also witnessed a live breathalyser test and arrest, reinforcing the very real and serious consequences of dangerous driving.
