Project Summary:
RJ McLeod (Contractors) Ltd were contracted by Highland Council to upgrade the ferry terminal with new infrastructure.
This forms a key part of the Skye Triangle upgrade where The Highland Council have been working closely with Transport Scotland, Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL), CalMac Ferries Ltd and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar to deliver the Uig works with the ongoing upgrade works at Tarbert and Lochmaddy.

End of project: 20th November 2024

To Supply and install: –
- Pedestrian guardrail.
- Vehicle restraint barriers with fish tail ends.
- Key clamp handrails.
- Mesh fencing and gate.
- Bolt down barrier.
- Barrier with handrail on top.
- Additional DDA handrails fitted to waiting shelters.
- Lighting column protectors.
