Project Summary:
£191,000 of funding was awarded by Scottish Forestry to upgrade an Evanton road, in a bid to improve timber transport in the Highlands. The grants are from the Strategic Timber Transport Fund (STTF), with the remainder being paid for by the Highland Council.
Highland Council contracted Strath Civils to carry out replacement bridge works.

HFBC works:
HFBC supplied and installed the vehicle restraint systems for this project. This included a Steel N2W2 VGSN1002 parapet with mesh, Tranzflex connections to N2 barrier & parapet, barrier and P4 TREND terminals.
