Type of work: Repairs to Crash Cushion and Pedestrian Parapet
Project Summary:
The works in the main contract are the execution of the replacement of the existing carriageway surfacing and expansion joints, the installation of a new waterproofing system to the reinforced concrete deck slab and concrete repairs to the deck soffit on the external cantilevers. Additional works required include the resurfacing of the Northern On/Off Ramps, Marketgait Bridge and Tay Road Bridge Plaza. Upgrades to the existing traffic signs and road markings across the bridge structure and its approaches at Tay Road Bridge being provided and/or to be provided by the Contractor for the Employer.
Start of project: 28th October 2024
End of project: 7th November 2024
HFBC works:
- Removal and installation of new crash cushion and pedestrian parapet.
- To carry out repairs to the existing crash cushion and the pedestrian parapet on the Tay Road Bridge.
